Evaluation

After, competing our first project to get a better grade we had to do an original soundtrack and voice over. I decided to create a soundtrack to one of my other projects. I chose my documentary to make the soundtrack I knew the soundtrack that has to complement the video footage. My documentary is about how young people feel when there asked what ethic group they categorize themselves.

I decided to make a song with latin rhythms because at the beginning of my documentary I have establishing shoots of latin american culture in London. I thought it would go well with the video footage so I began the process of making the song. The program I used to create my soundtrack was Logic Pro. I have used this program before and I confident with the basic tools and skills. Before, I started creating my song I struggled starting off this was the first time I’ve make a song from scratch. I began to listen to latin or salsa music to try and get an idea of how the structure of a song should sound like.
