In this unit I will looking and researching on jobs in the media industry. This will help me have knowledge to what I would expect when searching for a job in this industry. After, having the knowledge I will look at what employers look for in a employee and improve my cv and cover letter structure. This will help and improve my current cv and polish out and show the best of me.

The two job that I will be looking into is photographer and
Photographer
Professional photographers usually set up their own freelance photography, where they people hire them to take pictures of any types of events like weddings, family portraits, baby showers, etc. There are also photographers that specialize in other fields such as property, food, advertisement, fashion, wild/animal etc. Being a photography can have a wide range to job titles which you can get into. Even in the media industry there are different types of photography jobs.
Casting Director
Casting Directors is responsible for setting interviews up with actors/actress and for booking a location. The Casting Directors works closely with the director, producer, and script writer to try and hire the best possible actors.
When the parts are cast, the Casting Director negotiates fees and contracts for the actors, and acts as a liaison between the director, the actors and their agents.
Casting Directors must have an extensive knowledge of actors and their suitability for a particular role. On larger productions, Casting Directors may supervise casting assistants, who will support and assist them in this work.
